Client and Server are the basic components of a network.
As we know clients are the end users and server are the computer that provides services to the clients.
While building a cloud environment a single server will be established that provides share the resource to the multiple clients.
There are 3 major types of clients that can be added to the cloud environment.
1. Mobile Client
2. Thin Client
3. Thick Client
Mobile clients are the clients who will access the resources shared by the server via mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets,iphone etc.
Think clients are the clients which will not have that much resources in them. These clients will use the server for processing, storing,etc i.e for all the computational purpose they will use the server. Introduction of thin clients will reduce the capital expenditure in building unnecessary infrastructure.
Thick clients are the clients which will have all the resources in them. They are just opposite to the thin clients, they increase the capital expenditure.
