FINGER PRINT RECOGNITION
Finger print recognition is one of the powerful bio metrics technique that is being used for security purpose. The above posted diagram shows how the finger print recognition system works. Let me not confuse by explaining all the parts. I will simply narrate how the task will be done and important parts alone. First sample of the finger print will be received from people and it will be stored in memory. Here it is SD card. Here we get input using a sensor. As we all know sensor is device that is used to measure a physical quantity and convert it into signals that can be read by the device. Here it converts the finger prints into signals and store it in memory.
When using the system, if a person gives finger print as input it will be converted as signals and compared with the one stored in the memory, if it matches the person will be given access permission. If does not matches some kind of output will be produced.
