Earlier in my blog I have shared 3 articles related to big data and this article would give much more awareness about the importance of big data
Industrial revolution is one of the important movements in the history of the world. Industrial revolution made the countries to flourish in economy and also improved the economical status of the people. Although Industrial revolution was a boon to the economy, on the other side many lost their job due to introduction of new machines. A single machine replaced a huge number of employees. This situation is same in almost all the field, when the technology moves ahead from the current scenario.
The evolution of Big Data can be considered as the "Computer Revolution". Big Data Tools are going to replace a large volume of employees in one side and in another side; the replaced employees will have opportunities to work in the new projects which will come because of the introduction of big data.
Let me explain this scenario with an example in terms of biological research. There are 10 data scientists working in a laboratory, analyzing the human cell. The goal of the analysis is to identify the cancerous cell. This process can be done using big data tool, with the monitor of single data scientist. Now 9 data scientists would go without any work, is what the perception of a normal person. Since the task will be accomplished soon, organization will get more number of similar projects which will give employment to rest 9 also.
Knowledge on Recent and upcoming technology is must, this can be indirectly inferred from the above scenario. All the 10 will go without job, if they have no idea about big data and the tools. Mean while, the one who gets recruited will be highly paid. To withstand in the ever grooming and growing technical world, the current employee has to constantly update on the recent trends. Basic knowledge on the recent trends would be a great plus for the young fresher.
Technology will always move ahead. Boon or Ban is all depends upon how we take over it!!
