IP Address is an address that uniquely identifies the system in an network.
IP address of a website can be traced in just 2 steps
Step 1:
Go to command prompt using the following steps
Start --> All Program --> Accessories --> Command Prompt
Step 2:
To Find the IP address of a website just type the following command in the command prompt
PING URL(of the website)
ex: PING www.facebook.com
Click the enter Key, IP address of the website will be displayed below
Tracing Using TRACERT
You can trace the website using the following command also
In the same command prompt type the following command
TRACERT URL(of the website)
ex: TRACERT www.facebook.com
Press the Enter Key, IP Address will be displayed below
You can use this method to cross check the IP address what you got using the PING command...:)

Nice you can also find the ip address of website just by doing host search in sites like ip-details.com where they display the ip address of a particular website along with some information's like ISP address ,country ,latitude,longitude and so on .
